I am officially beginning the next chapter of my life. This week I start college in the United Kingdom where I will be studying Sustainable Development! I am moving a long way from home, but am very excited for the opportunity to study a topic that is so important to me and the future of our planet.

Toward the end of our overseas flight, I looked out the window as the airplane descended. The clouds suddenly parted and the first thing I saw were windmills! That felt like a really good sign as I begin this new journey.

In college I hope to learn more about how we can live in harmony with our planet. How we can better manage resources and develop innovative design and building practices that are healthier for all of us. How we can improve energy efficiency and provide all the things we need as humans, while also protecting the environment. This is obviously no easy task, but I am still optimistic and believe that the more I learn the more hopeful I will become that we can achieve a cleaner, greener future.

I am excited to share what I learn during my study of sustainability and will continue to offer up practical conservation tips and pass on exciting news about green innovations and encouraging environmental victories. As always, thanks so much for taking the time to read Cleaner Greener Planet!
